NIDCS

Establish and conduct any industrial undertaking;
Hold government stocks or shares in any Corporation on such terms as may be recommended by Government;
To become a holding Corporation or Parent Corporation of companies and statutory corporations as may be determined by Government;
Manage and supervise certain companies and statutory corporations;
Facilitate, promote, guide and assist in the financing of new industries, schemes for expansion towards modernization of existing industries to meet the economic requirements of Swaziland and industrial development within and outside Swaziland;
Foster development of small and medium enterprises and cooperatives towards the creation of employment, particularly in under-developed areas of Swaziland;
Encourage the creation of new knowledge based industries and services and establishment and growth of new technology based firms and industries;
Enhance corporate government so as to achieve business.
